John Novak brought his family to America from Bohemia (Now part of the Czech Republic).
John Novak born Feb 21, 1837 in Ceska-Rajbna-Kres-Chrudin, Bohemia. He came to America
around 1869. and was naturalized in about 1875. He farmed and raised a family in the Belleville, Kansas area in the latter 1800's.
Novak translates into "newcomer" in Czech
